Some Scrappy Inspiration

This post is for my fellow scapbookers. There were so many beautiful scrapbook pages displayed at Convention! Here I've posted some of the ones that I thought were most in line with the style that my friends and I use. They allow for multiple pictures and (in most cases) journaling spaces that allow the creator to tell a little about the story behind the pictures. I hope you'll find them inspiring!

I love how the title goes across the top of the picture. Also love the linen thread and hardware embellishment running vertically along the picture.

Love the dimensions, color and texture. Overlapping the pictures allows for more pictures to be placed on the page along with space for embellishments.

Clever idea to have a film strip look with one of the frames enlarged.

She cut the title letters on the Big Shot out of an extra picture!

Inventive use of embellishments to illustrate the title "apple". She said so much in her jouraling with so few words.

So pretty! I love the geometric modern design of this page offset by the torn edges and hand cut leaves.

See how she stacked the mats behind the picture at angles, then softened the look with the scalloped circle? I also like the added touch of the metal clips holding the sentiment and the journaling box in place.

Nice clean layout and good use of the spiral border punch to create the film strip look.

I hope you got some great ideas and I can't wait to see them in your scrapbooks!
