Win this purse and shutter card set!

This purse is so easy to make! I got the instructions from Andrea Walford at http://andreawalford.com/?p=665. It holds a set of stand A2 sized cards (4.25" x 5.5") and their envelopes. It ties shut with some grosgrain ribbon around a couple large brads. I used some retired Stampin' Up! designer paper for the body of the purse.

This type of card is called a shutter card. The card base is actually quite easy to make, but you can definitely lose track of time while adding all the layers and embellishments to the many segments of the card.

This set will be among the prizes up for grabs at my New Catalog Reveal Party and Retired Item Sale this Saturday. Come and bring a friend!

Julie - does this link work for you? http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/trishuttercard/
I like the video more than the written instructions. Also, I don't use a hobby blade (not that coordinated)- I used my paper trimmer instead.
