Swapping at Convention

For this month's card challenge at my monthly Stamp Class we are supposed to create a card inspired from a catalog or magazine page. I decided to kill two birds with one stone and use my challenge card for my swap card at Convention as well.

Here's my inspiration from the Frontgate Catalog:

And here's my interpretation:

The rattan on the catalog really reminded me of the new Square Lattice embossing folder that Stampin' Up! offers and was actually what made me want to issue this challenge. I used my new Level 1 Hostess Set for the flower and punched it out with the Boho Blossoms punch. Can you believe I made 50 of these?!? I got the interesting pillow shape by running some Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot with my Top Note die, then rotating it 90 degrees and running it though again.

Here's a closeup of the texture from the embossing folder:

For the inside of the card I just used the other two flowers that were punched out from my Boho Blossoms punch. It punches out three different flowers all in one motion. I love it!

I can't wait to return from Convention and show you all the fabulous cards that I swapped these for!
