How many is too many?

I love Sometimes I am so excited about what we are getting that I don't pay enough attention to the details. Take for example, the time I bought SIX fiber optic lamp kits.

Yeah, I'm thinking six fiber optic lamps are probably bordering on too many for one household. What do you think? I swear I only ordered two, but what I failed to pay attention to was that each order contained all three possible choices being offered, thus 2 x 3 = 6. The good news of course was that my kids had free pick of the lamp they wanted to make: butterfly, flower pot, or lion without worry that they would fight over the same one.

Gwenny chose to make the butterfly as she is my girly girl and Mitchell of course chose the lion (imagine a 3 year old's lion rawr here). They were really fun to make. They came with clay and some plastic pieces, a lamp base, and fiber optic bunches that you could trim. We made these probably a month ago and the clay is *still* moist! No where in the instructions did it say to heat it, so who knows. Anyway, the kids love them and I think they turned out pretty cute.
