The Diaper Fold Pouch - not just for babies!

This month at Stamp Class our 3-D project was a super easy Diaper Fold Pouch. You can make a diaper fold pouch (DFP) out of any square piece of paper. A double sided paper works the best since you end up seeing both sides of the paper on the finished product.

You can leave the pouch flat and slide a card into it, fill it with leftover Easter candy, or put a small gift inside. We used the Four Square stamp set (item #111632) for the tag and punched it out with the 1 & 1/4" square punch (item#104400), then attached it with some linen thread (item#104199) and a filigree brad (item#112577).

Did you know Stampin' Up! carries cellophane bags? Here I filled a large cello bag (item#102210) with candy. You could use medium (102757) or small bags (103104) depending on the size of square paper you use.

Want to know how to make a diaper fold pouch in about 30 seconds? Check back later today for my Diaper Fold Pouch tutorial!

  1. I really like this project! I don't suppose you have any ideas for non-food items that could go in it? I have someone I want to do a little something for but food won't work.

  3. Thanks ladies! I loved it and I'm glad it was a hit!

Deanna - I've seen them filled with stamps, markers, office supplies, potpourri, small jewelry items, notepads, and movie tickets. Would any of those be appropriate?
